How to run a short wing-control session with a clear goal, stop limits and review.

Fundamentals of purposeful ground handling

Effective ground handling is not a collection of random repetitions. Each session needs a limited goal, a suitable environment and clear stop criteria.

Choose one small goal

Rather than combining several skills, select an observable goal such as maintaining even pressure or stopping under control.

The practice area is part of the decision

Check the surface, obstacles, nearby people and wind changes. More repetition does not make an unsuitable location safe.

Finish with a review

Pause after a few repetitions, review the outcome with an instructor and continue only while quality is maintained.

Sources and specialist review

Final sources and reviewer identity will be completed after academy-manager approval.
